Free Comic Book Day

Over the past couple of weeks I've been working on costumes for my family to celebrate Free Comic Book Day.  Today was the day and I have to day it was my best work to date!  My wife was dressed as Black Widow from the upcoming Iron Man 2 film, and my youngest daughter was dressed as Hit Girl from the recent comic book film Kick-Ass.  Everyone loved their costumes are we had a great time at Sarge's Comics in New London CT.  Costume success + Ice Cream + Beautiful Weather = Perfect Day!

You really hit that hitgirl costume on the nail! How long did it take and how much did you spend on fabric?

It took me about 10 hours. I think I spent under $40.00 on all my materials, but I lucked out on a fabric remnant for the main purple vinyl.
